Composition

Each mL of OCTOSTIM contains desmopressin acetate 15 mcg, with sodium chloride and hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH to 3.5, in water for injection.

Availability

OCTOSTIM is available in a 1 mL ampoule containing 15 mcg desmopressin. Ampoules are clear glass with a red identification ring and a blue dot indicating the cut area.

Instructions for Opening Ampoules

Hold ampoule with blue dot pointing upwards. Shake or tap ampoule to empty the tip.
With blue dot pointing upwards, snap off tip by forcing it downwards.
