Active Ingredient	Description
Ergometrine	Ergometrine produces sustained tonic uterine contraction via agonist or partial agonist effects at myometrial 5-HT₂ receptors and alpha-adrenergic receptors. Both upper and lower uterine segments are stimulated to contract in a tetanic manner.
