Moxarin hard capsules contain the equivalent of either 250 mg or 500 mg amoxicillin as amoxicillin trihydrate E.P.

| Amoxicillin |
Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin (beta-lactam antibiotic) that inhibits one or more enzymes (often referred to as penicillin-binding proteins, PBPs) in the biosynthetic pathway of bactericidal peptidoglycan, which is an integral structural component of the bacterial cell wall. Inhibition of peptidoglycan synthesis leads to weakening of the cell wall, which is usually followed by cell lysis and death. |

Moxarin capsules 250 mg and 500 mg are presented in polyvinylchloride film-aluminium foil blisters of 10 capsules each. Blisters, with a leaflet, are presented in card cartons. Packs containing 20 or 100 capsules and boxes of 500 and 1000 capsules are available.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
