Interactions

Tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate interacts in the following cases:

Antacids, milk, alcohol

It is recommended to avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks during the treatment. Milk (in coffee or tea) and antacids can be taken in small quantities, but never ½ hour before or after taking the tripartite bismuth bismuth. General fluid intake should also be avoided during this period.

Antacids and milk are recommended not to be taken at the same time, as it is possible to inhibit the action of tricalcium bisetrate.

Pregnancy

There are insufficient data on the use of tripotassium dicitratobismuthate during pregnancy in humans to assess its potential harmful effects. To date, no indications of harmful effects have been found in animal tests.
