Therapeutic indications

Fostemsavir is indicated for:

Multidrug resistant HIV-1 infection

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

Fostemsavir, in combination with other antiretrovirals, is indicated for the treatment of adults with multidrug resistant HIV-1 infection for whom it is otherwise not possible to construct a suppressive anti-viral regimen.

Fostemsavir is contraindicated in the following cases:

Strong CYP3A inducers

at least one of
Strong potency CYP3A4 inducers
Cytochrome P-450 CYP3A5 strong inducers

Carbamazepine
Phenytoin
Mitotane
Enzalutamide
Rifampicin
