Therapeutic indications

Gadoversetamide is indicated for:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the central nervous system (CNS) and liver

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Optimark is indicated for use with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the central nervous system (CNS) and liver. It provides contrast enhancement and facilitates visualization and helps with the characterization of focal lesions and abnormal structures in the CNS and liver in adult patients and in children of two years and older with known or highly suspected pathology.

Contraindications

Gadoversetamide is contraindicated in the following cases:

Severe renal impairment (GFR <30ml/min/1.73m²), acute kidney injury

at least one of

Renal failure stage 5: Kidney failure (GFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m2 or dialysis)
Acute renal failure syndrome

Liver transplantation

Transplantation of liver
