Therapeutic indications

Hydrochlorothiazide and Triamterene is indicated for:

Hypertension

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

This fixed combination drug is not indicated for the initial therapy of hypertension except in individuals in whom the development of hypokalemia cannot be risked.

Triamterene/hydrochlorothiazide combination is indicated for the treatment of hypertension in patients who develop hypokalemia on hydrochlorothiazide alone.
