Therapeutic indications

Hydroxycarbamide is indicated for:

Prevention of vaso-occlusive pain co-occurrent and due to sickle cell disease

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 - 65 years old)

Hydroxycarbamide is indicated for the prevention of recurrent painful vaso-occlusive crises including acute chest syndrome in adults, adolescents and children older than 2 years suffering from symptomatic Sickle Cell Syndrome.
