Macitentan and Tadalafil

Therapeutic indications

Macitentan and Tadalafil is indicated for:

Pulmonary arterial hypertension

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

The combination of macitentan and tadalafil is indicated for the chronic treatment of adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group I and WHO Functional Class (FC) II–III).

Individually, macitentan reduces the risk of clinical worsening events and hospitalization, and tadalafil improves exercise ability.

Macitentan and Tadalafil is contraindicated in the following cases:

Severe hepatic impairment, elevated hepatic aminotransferases
