Olipudase alfa is indicated for:

Acid Sphingomyelinase Deficiency (ASMD) in patients with type A/B or type B

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

Olipudase alfa is indicated as an enzyme replacement therapy for the treatment of non-Central Nervous System (CNS) manifestations of Acid Sphingomyelinase Deficiency (ASMD) in adult patients with type A/B or type B.

For this indication, competent medicine agencies globally authorize below treatments (click for details):

0.1 mg/kg at week 0, 0.3 mg/kg at weeks 2 and 4, 0.6 mg/kg at weeks 6 and 8, 1 mg/kg at week 10, 2 mg/kg at week 12, 3 mg/kg at week 14 and thereafter

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old)
