Therapeutic indications

Rivastigmine is indicated for:

Mild to moderately severe Alzheimer's dementia

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s dementia.

1.5 mg twice daily for two weeks and thereafter 1.5-6 mg twice daily

4.6 mg/24 h for four weeks and thereafter 9.5 mg/24 h

Mild to moderately severe dementia with idiopathic Parkinson's disease

Population group: only adults (18 years old or older)

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe dementia in patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease.
