Therapeutic indications

Sodium chloride is indicated for:

Extracellular fluid volume depletion, sodium depletion

Sodium chloride intravenous infusion is indicated for:

  • Treatment of isotonic extracellular dehydration.
  • Treatment of sodium depletion.
  • Vehicle or diluent of compatible drugs for parenteral administration.
