Sultamicillin is a prodrug of ampicillin and of the beta-lactamase inhibitor sulbactam. It consists of the two compounds linked as a double ester.
Sultamicillin (Ampimax) 750 mg is a white to almost white oblong shaped biconvex
film-coated tablet with one side engraved with “CF” and the other side notched.
