Pale yellow, round, film-coated tablet with the Napp logo marked on one side and SA on the other.

Each tablet contains aminophylline hydrate 225 mg.

Active Ingredient Description
Aminophylline

Aminophylline is a soluble derivative of theophylline and is given for its theophylline activity. Aminophylline relaxes smooth muscle and relieves bronchial spasm. It stimulates the myocardium and reduces venous pressure in congestive heart failure, leading to a marked increase in cardiac output.

Pack sizes and marketing

  1. Polypropylene containers with polyethylene lids containing 50, 56, 250 or 1000 tablets.
  2. Aluminium foil backed PVC blister strips in cardboard cartons containing 10, 56 or 60 tablets.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
