Desmopressin is indicated for:

Contraindications

Desmopressin is contraindicated in the following cases:

Psychogenic polydipsia, alcohol abuse

at least one of

Psychogenic polydipsia
Alcohol abuse

Cardiac insufficiency, diuretics

Heart failure

Moderate renal impairment, severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <50 ml/min)

at least one of

Renal failure stage 5: Kidney failure (GFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m2 or dialysis)
