Therapeutic indications

Enalapril is indicated for:

Hypertension

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Contraindications

Enalapril is contraindicated in the following cases:

Aliskiren in diabetes mellitus or renal impairment

Aliskiren and additionally at least one of

Diabetes mellitus

Renal failure stage 5: Kidney failure (GFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m2 or dialysis)

Pregnancy

Lactation

Idiopathic angioedema

Idiopathic angio-oedema

Hereditary angioedema

Hereditary angioneurotic edema

History of angioedema associated with previous angiotensin converting enzymeinhibitor therapy

Angioedema caused by angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitor

Paediatric patients with severe renal impairment
