Tramadol and Paracetamol

Therapeutic indications

Tramadol and Paracetamol is indicated for:

Moderate to severe pain

Population group: only adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Tramadol/paracetamol combination is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain.

Its use should be restricted to patients whose moderate to severe pain is considered to require a combination of tramadol and paracetamol.

For this indication, competent medicine agencies globally authorize below treatments (click for details):

75 mg of tramadol and 650 mg of paracetamol as initial dose followed by additional doses not exceeding 300 mg of tramadol and 2,600 mg of paracetamol per day

Contraindications

Tramadol and Paracetamol is contraindicated in the following cases:

Pregnancy

Lactation

Severe hepatic impairment

Hepatic failure stage IV
